Placing an Order

When you place an order through our Site, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products. An order is only accepted once you receive a confirmation email from us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, for example due to product unavailability, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. If your payment has already been processed, we will issue a full refund promptly.

Pricing

All prices displayed on the Site are in Euros (€) and include applicable Maltese VAT at the current rate. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice. The price applicable to your order is the price shown at the time you complete your purchase.

Allergens and Dietary Information

Allergen and dietary information is provided in good faith and to the best of our knowledge. Our products are made in a kitchen that handles common allergens including gluten, eggs, dairy, and nuts. We cannot guarantee a completely allergen-free environment. If you have a severe allergy or dietary requirement, please contact us before placing an order.

Payment

Payment is collected at the time of order through our secure payment processor, Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. By providing your payment details, you confirm that you are authorised to use the payment method provided.

All payment card data is handled by Stripe and is subject to their security standards (PCI-DSS). We do not store your full card details on our servers.

Collection & Delivery

Details regarding collection times and any available delivery options are communicated during the checkout process and in your order confirmation email. It is your responsibility to collect or receive your order at the agreed time. We are not liable for any deterioration in product quality resulting from a failure to collect or accept delivery within the agreed timeframe.

As our products are freshly prepared baked goods, we strongly recommend consuming them on the day of collection or following any storage guidance provided with your order.

Intellectual Property

All content on this Site — including text, images, logos, graphics, recipes, and branding — is the property of Fuwamai Ltd or its content suppliers and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this Site without our express written permission.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Maltese and EU law, Fuwamai Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of the Site or from the purchase of our products, except where such liability cannot be excluded by law (for example, liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation).

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under Maltese law and EU consumer protection legislation.

Data Protection & GDPR

Fuwamai Ltd is the Data Controller for personal data collected through this Site. We process your personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act (Chapter 586 of the Laws of Malta).

Personal data collected during the ordering process (such as your name, email address, delivery address, and payment information) is processed for the following lawful bases:

  • Contractual necessity — to fulfil and manage your order.
  • Legal obligation — to comply with tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
